Finally my blog is accessible again. I was baffled when I woke up last week and was redirected to a page that says my blog has been deleted either due to my request of inactivity. Neither of which were true. Friends have started emailing me asking me what happened. Fortunately, yesterday afternoon I chanced upon an online support agent of I.PH. He told me there has been a problem in the migration of my blog. Anyway, I'm happy that it's back in the web.

Not much happened as of late, hopefully we can finish with our 3d/4d ultrasound within the week. Will be visiting your blogs again people. Take care!

7 Random Things about me

I was tagged by ate marie yesterday. When I read through her list and that of ate girlie, it seems easy. However now that I'm thinking about it, I couldn't even come up with one. hmmm… esep esep… okay so here goes…. Sorry I can't seem to upload pics here from our desktop at home.

1. I'm a blog nomad. Couldn't remember exactly how many blogs I've had, I had several at blogspot, one at blogdrive, two at tblog, and somewhere else. I certainly hope to stay here though.

2. I'm absolutely clueless about make up. I have a couple of high end make ups sent to me by relatives in the states but I almost always end up giving it as gifts to other people. One time I bought a blush on at body shop but its still stuck somewhere in my drawer, unopened.

3. I once wanted to have a second name. When I was back in pre-school, I noticed that majority of my classmates has 2 or 3 names. hehe inggitera.

4. Last year I've read 25 books - a variety of novels and self help books even childrens books. I have this pact with myself that I should be able to finish one book per month. This year though, I've only managed to read 3 books to date. So lazy! Could it be that I'm having a baby boy? hehe

5. I dont follow trends, I'm actually a trend snob. Back in high school, I'm so into the Corrs band right before they became really famous. I wanted to buy a copy of their cd but wasn't able to do so right away. When I found out that one of my friends bought a copy of their cd, i decided i dont want it anymore. Same thing happened with freestyle. Then when I was much younger, I noticed that everyone who eats at fastfoods would go for choco fudge sundae, so I decided that even if I like chocolate, I'd go for strawberry sundae. Made me furious when Mcdonalds decided to phase it out.

6. I'm a net addict. I could stay in front of the monitor the whole day and still be very contented. I'd rather stay at home and read through peoples blogs, browse through different websites than to hang out in the mall. But if it's going out of town, I'd happily forget about the net. Well, wi-fi is available in a lot of places now so that will work for me since I could bring my laptop.

7. I've long decided not to use Nokia for my handphone. I guess this is in line with number 5. Mostly because everyone is using Nokia and another thing is that if you're using one, everyone has a pretty good idea of how much your phone costs.

A global concern

a night to remember

The prom is certainly one night in a teen ager's life that holds a lot of memories, whether good or bad. For those who are yet to experience the magic this one night brings, this night holds a lot of promise, what-ifs and future memories they will or perhpas will not be fond of reminiscing. For me, who's experience it, i could tell that there is much anticipation for that one special night. Girls in particular, would obsess about what to wear - under that would be what color, what cut, where to buy (i should be the only one wearing this outfit!), what shoes to match and so on. We were also careful about growing our nails that way it'll have the right length by the time of the prom, so that we can have it manicured to perfection. Then of course comes the prom updos! As a young woman, you certainly want to look specially beautiful on that night, breaking away from your usual get up and look. That's why it is important to carefully pick the hairstyle that will not only match your dress, but will most especially flatter the shape of your face and your body. An example would be not to put your hair in a bun, if you have  a larger chest area. Knowing these things are essential in making your prom night one that is positively memorable.

nostalgic

Sometime past  8pm last night, I saw one of my former kids (reps, agents) went online. He's just been promoted to a supervisory post and I feel like a proud momma! He filled me in about what's been happening at the office as of late and he inquired about how I'm doing as far as my pregnancy is concerned. That rep of mine is one of my favorite. Not only could he work with minimal supervision, but whenever he'd approach me to inquire about a difficult situation, he gives me his take on the matter and tells me what are his options. He just sort of asks my opinion which way to go given a certain scenario. Unlike most reps who will tell you that they're just stumped.

After a good 15 minutes of chatting through YM, I told him I'm going to have dinner already. But before I was able to chew on my food, he told me something. Here's a copy of the latter part of our YM conversation.

Well I'm sure Mico did very well during the interview, otherwise he wouldn't have made it to the MDP. Besides, well let me gloat, I have always had a protege on each MDP class! Never fails! Sorry ha yabang. Oh well, I miss the people at my old company, my team, my friends. Hopefully I could visit them before the year ends.

dream dog

  an english bulldog! that's always been my dream dog. i wanted one eversince I was 7. I just cant afford to buy one, they're really expensive. Look at those puppy eyes, sooo cute! one time i was at festival mall and there were several breeders who were there. I think i was standing right in front of the dog's cage for a good 10-15 minutes looking at a really cute puppy bulldog. The breeder, was very kind enough to take out the dog, and let me carry it. I swear, I just wanted to kidnap the dog right then and there! One day, I promise, I'll have one. hehe
